"Semi-Silent" Retreat

Join Kara Swift & Merryl Simpson for a weekend of withdrawal from the outside world and pampering of YOU.  

This stunning venue just out of the Byron Bay, is a secluded 30 acre natural wildlife sanctuary with the ocean on one side and a large tea-tree lake on the other side. With 630 metres of beachfront, between the iconic Byron Bay Lighthouse and the surfing haven of Broken Head.

 

There will be several yoga classes to choose from every day and yoga on the beach at sunrise for those early risers.

You will also be learning several meditation and mindfulness techniques to take away and apply to every day life after the retreat.

This is not a "silent retreat" although there are several periods of silence woven throughout the schedule. 

Our private chef will ensure our bellies are nourished with delicious, healthy lunches and dinners.

 

Choose a single room (with a king bed and ensuite), in a 2 or 3 bedroom beach-house with a deck - or share with a friend or partner in a twin-share or king bed room.

Please contact us if you would like to arrange a payment plan to pay off your retreat (a deposit is required to secure your spot). 

Arrival time:  4pm - 5pm

The retreat will conclude just after lunch on Sunday. 

 

FLOW OF THE DAY

6.30am - Yoga or meditation by the ocean (or 7.30am in the heated yoga room during the chillier months)

7.30am - Delicious, healthy breakfast prepared by our private chef. 

9am: Yoga class (in each yoga class options are always given for beginners to intermediate so that you can practice at your own pace). 

10.30am - Workshop

12pm - Lunch (organic produce sourced from the Byron Bay markets is used in all our meals)

Free time - Have a massage from our very popular, intuitive massage therapist, wander along the beach and see if you can spot the dolphins frolicking. Visit the healing waters of the ti-tree lake, take a delicious nap or let your creativity flow by journalling, drawing, knitting...whatever makes your heart sing and you perhaps don't usually have time to do. 

 

3.30pm - Delightfully relaxing "Yin and Restorative" yoga class

6.30pm - Dinner

7.30pm - Star and moon-gazing at the beach then "Yoga Nidra" - an extremely relaxing guided meditation done lying down. This is also called "yoga sleep". It will guide you into a deep relaxation, so you can then float off to a peaceful nights sleep
